Sucks to be the "New Guy"
Post by clifjo77 on Jul 5, 2008, 4:06pm

Hi there,
I have recently moved to Guelph. Experienced rider, looking for someone to show me the trails. Looking for someone or even a group of experienced people that want to go out for a ride in the evening after work, and anytime on the weekends. Anyone interest... feed back would be great.

thanks.

Joe,

Welcome to the forum. If you are a member of GORBA, you will receive emails from ClubMTB regarding rides that have been posted by another member. If they look like something you would enjoy, then "accept" the ride and have fun. If your looking for the meeting places for these rides, click here

Hi JOE,

Yah, welcome. Tell us more about yourself. What kind of riding do you like to do? When you say experienced do you mean fit or good or both? Are you looking to ride the local trails or would you ride trails that are 20-30 minutes drive?

Hi JOE,
welcome to Guelph,
What kind of riding do you like to do?
-Rocky and technical
-Hilly and hard
-Smooth and fast

Luckily we have a lot of varied riding nearby, including all of the above. Personally, i like it all, i usually go pretty fast, and i ride year round.

GORBA is an excellent way to hook up with like-minded riders, but you have to become a member to receive the postings for the scheduled rides.

hope to see you on the trails,
Dave
